    Visited this restaurant a couple days ago and I had the Pork Chop meal and my wife had the French Dip. Everything was delicious and cooked to order with generous portions. Service was excellent and ambiance was quiet and enjoyable. Looking forward to the next visit to try another menu item. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    Would have given this place 5 stars, but the service was notably slow. I was there on a Tuesday for lunch service. Perhaps they were short staffed. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly. The new owner's improvements were noted from my prior visit and I thought the prices were reasonable, albeit at the upper end.

    A local's favorite diner, restaurant and bar. Right off the 99 in Chowchilla. It's a little tucked away behind a motel and gas station but it's well worth finding. When you enter Farnesi's, you have your choice of eating in the diner side (booths, lunch counter, ketchup bottles on the table) or going into the more upscale area to the right (white linen table cloths, crystal glasses, definitely more posh). It's kind of a trip. Whichever side you choose, you're going to eat well. I typically get the Chicken Masala or the Fried Chicken or Ribeye Steak or the French Dip, I could pretty much rattle off the whole menu. The food is great, the waitresses are awesome. They keep your glass topped off. Just a great restaurant.
